Sinder Bishop
A street rat from another world who made good. Arriving in Eorzea under mysterious means, she worked her way up from the bottom, founded her own Free Company with old friends she found in this new place under circumstances just as arcane, and built a life for herself and those she loves. Equally up for a good time and to stand up for what's right, she lives by one rule: Don't Be A Dick.
Work
Sinder's primary concern is her Free Company, the Eorzea branch of the Ashcroft Foundation, a callback to her employer from before her time here on Etheirys and it's reflections. Secondary concerns are her employment opportunities around the world, not the least of which is the Vena Amoris, where she serves as Assistant Manager and Bar Manager (open once a month, stop by and see us!). She also works at Forever Night, a new venue still finding their feet, also behind the bar.
About
Sinder grew up roughly, and she doesn't often talk about it. She's not secretive about it, but she doesn't volunteer information unless asked. Her childhood was fraught with trauma and desperation in a world that actively wanted her dead. She managed to survive, though, and became a trusted Advisor to that world's largest political and economic interest. She lived through invasions, a global war, and the impending doom of the planet she grew up on.Then one day, she woke up on a ship traveling to Limsa Lominsa from parts unknown. She took up the life of an adventurer and never looked back. Though her past wasn't done with her, as she found friends from her homeworld had come to Etheirys just as suddenly and mysteriously as she had. They had to take some time to recognize her by her voice, though, as her appearance had almost completely changed. On her homeworld that she calls "Terra," she was a waifish, short thing. Here she is a towering roegadyn, a shocking turn from her original form. But they did recognize her eventually, and they founded their Free Company and set about gathering new adventurers to guide and nurture. She fiercely defends those adventurers, as they have become her found family, and will not hesitate to put herself in harm's way to care for them, as evidenced by the blackened scars that cover her body.Today, Sinder busies herself with continued education and training to maintain her prowess and crafting skills. She can be found occasionally at a venue here or there, rarely alone, but those she spends time with are the jewels of her life. She has taken two ladies into her confidence and given them special neckwear to signify her commitment to them, but she is known to play with many friends and confidants. She is always looking for new friends and playmates.
